Alumni Events

Alum students and families are a valued part of the extended UCDS family. To maintain our ties with alum UCDS hosts four annual functions:

  • Sixth Graders: Every October UCDS hosts a Middle School Night for our recently graduated 6th graders and our current 5th graders. This pizza party is a forum for the new alumni to talk to the 5th graders about their middle school experiences thus far and to answer any questions regarding middle school and the application process.
  • Eighth Graders: Each spring UCDS hosts a festive dinner where alumni 8th graders and their families gather to reconnect before the middle school students go off to high school.
  • Twelth Graders: Each fall UCDS hosts a dinner for its alumni high school seniors and their families before those students launch off to college or their next adventure.
  • College Graduates: Inaugurated in the winter of 2010, UCDS now hosts a dinner for alumni of college graduate age and beyond.

Through these well-received and highly anticipated events, UCDS provides an opportunity for our alumni to reconnect at critical junctures in their lives, furthering their sense of community around UCDS.
