School Tours. Check for available dates on the list below, and call the Adimission Office to schedule your tour. (206)547-8237. - January 12, 2012
Initial application deadline. UCDS accepts up to 300 applications each year. Applications received after 300 but by January 12th will be held and made active as space for applicants becomes available. - January 20, 2012
All remaining admission materials due. - February 3, 4 and 11, 2012
Early Elementary Program Visit Days. - January - March 2012
Elementary Program school visits. - February and March 2012
Parent interviews. The admission office will call families to schedule a parent interview. Interviews run approximately twenty minutes. Both parents should be present for the interview. - February 17, 2012
Financial aid deadline. - March 15, 2012
Notification letters sent to applicant families.
Parent Tour Information:
The first step in the UCDS admission process is the school tour. A tour is a required part of application to UCDS. We conduct tours to give prospective families an opportunity to see the school in action. Please remember, tours are for parents only—your child will have an opportunity to visit UCDS at a later time.
During your tour, you will have the opportunity to see our preschool through 5th grade programs and specialists. Your tour includes time in a classroom, working with our students, followed by a walk-through of the entire campus. We end the morning with the Head of School sharing the school's philosophy and hallmark programs, followed by an opportunity to talk with members of the faculty.
Parent tours begin at 9:00am and finish at 11:00am. Doors open at 8:45.
