Educator Visits
The key goal of our Teacher Education Center (TEC) is to promote innovative discussions amongst educators. We encourage educators and other interested parties to visit UCDS and see our teaching practices and programs first hand. We welcome the give and take of professional conversations and invite colleagues to come visit us.
Tuesday Morning Visits
In order to maintain our dual focus of teaching children and sustaining our faculty, we have arranged to offer school tours on Tuesday mornings from 9:00am to 10:30am. This includes a general walkthrough of the school with a UCDS guide.

Customized Visits
We have quite a few professional visitors with varying ideas about what they would like to see, discuss or study at UCDS; we also have frequent requests for longer visits or appointments on days other than Tuesday. To this end, the staff of our Teacher Education Center also offers visit options that can be customized for you or your group.
Full day visit
Visit UCDS for the full day (8:00am-3:00pm). Start the day in an overview meeting with a faculty member host; spend the morning in classrooms with your guide; attend a Q&A with a group of faculty during lunch (food provided); spend the afternoon in classrooms and end the day with a debrief session with faculty members. The cost for this option is $600.00 per day for a group of 1-4 people. Additional people are $60.00 per person with a maximum group size of 6 people.
Half day visit
Visit UCDS for a half-day (8:00am-12:00pm). Start the day in an overview meeting with a faculty host; spend the morning in classrooms with your UCDS guide; attend a Q&A lunch with a group of teachers (food provided). The fee for this option is $400.00 per day for a group of 1-4. Additional people are $40.00 per day with a maximum of 6 people.
Professional Development Options
UCDS will work with you to create a customized school visit program that addresses your specific areas of interest as well as your schedule and group size. These programs can vary in time from partial day courses to weeklong seminars. In addition, we have a group of faculty and administrators who work as consultants with schools around the world, leading in-services as well as spearheading long-term school leadership and curricular development projects.
